Does PRO DRY allow the masonry to "breathe"?
Yes, Thermilate PRO DRY masonry cream waterproofs masonry without completely blocking off masonry pores. For this reason water is still able to evaporate through the wall which allows masonry to breathe.
Will PRO DRY prevent/reduce moss growth on walls?
Upon application, Thermilate PRO DRY masonry cream will prevent water ingress into the walls creating an inhabitable surface for most types of moss. However certain types of moss can survive by using the moisture in the air around them. To prevent this you should always pre-treat the wall with fungicidal wash. How does Thermilate PRO DRY affect the appearance of my walls?
Thermilate PRO DRY Masonry Cream is a matte colorless water and dirt repellent. It allows you to waterproof your buildings without changing the original look of your home, it will how ever temporarily darken the masonry, but it will return to its original shade in time.
Will PRO DRY prevent spalling/frost damage?
Most common cause of spalling/cracking is water freezing and expanding inside the pores of the stone/brick causing them to crack. Thermilate PRO DRY will help with this by preventing water ingress into the stone/brick.
